To the Lake Wellness Center Team and Community:
At Lake Wellness Center, our top-priority is health and safety. We acknowledge our duty to unite local communities amid the ongoing spread of COVID-19, while also following precautionary guidelines suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Louisiana Department of Health.
Our mission has been to provide continuous care and treatment to those suffering from addiction. However, as our daily lives continue to change in response to this virus, so must our methods.
For the foreseeable future, our teams across south Louisiana will utilize a telehealth platform that will allow for a secure video conferencing service in compliance with HIPAA regulations, to ensure proper care for patients, as well as their privacy. Our services will continue, and we are still accepting new patients.
Furthermore, we are implementing additional screening and sanitation measures at all of our facilities and encourage others to do the same. These measures include avoiding contact with those who are sick, exercising proper personal hygiene and environmental sanitation, informing others when you are ill, and practicing social distancing.
As we adapt to the impacts of this virus on a global scale, we continue to honor our commitment to care for local communities and those suffering with the disease of addiction throughout south Louisiana.
